Revealing the first uniform hero of 2024...

Could we be heading to you next?

Sean Cross

Partner at John Lewis

"I have worked for John Lewis for just over 11 years. When I started we all wore suits every day. Our uniform changed in 2018 to a more relaxed smart casual look, now after six years of jeans and t-shirts, I want to feel smart again.

I have used Dimensions for a while but have been restricted from buying a suit because points were only twice a year and you couldn't buy one whole suit in one go, but now we can! I ordered the Phoenix in Charcoal in the tailored fit and still wear a Rapino shirt and black brogues.I'm proud to work at John Lewis and take pride in looking my best to serve customers.

Sean filmed a fantastic entry video

With over 180 entries at the point of his selection, Sean's video helped him stand out from the crowd. Sean's passion for his career, sense of pride in representing John Lewis, and love for his uniform shone through his entry.

Sean has set the standard for the 2024 Uniform Heroes, can you match it?

What does the team think?

"We're absolutely over the moon for Sean, so delighted that he has been named as a 2024 Uniform Hero! Having seen the number of entries, for Sean to be named a winner, we are so pleased for him."

"I'm chuffed to bits for Sean! We've seen some great entries this year from John Lewis and Waitrose but I was over the moon when Sean was confirmed as a 2024 Uniform Hero, and I think he thoroughly deserves it. He had put so much effort into it, he thought outside the box and we all loved it, so a huge congratulations to Sean."
